Reston, VA | October 3, 2023- Brillient announced today that their Digital Transformation Program Manager, Kate Faddegon, was selected as a 2023 Leading for IMPACT, Women in Leadership Award Winner by a FORUM panel of current and former Federal and Industry leaders from across the Federal IT sector.
The FORUM Women in Leadership Awards recognize “women creating IMPACT and leading organizations and strategic programs across the Federal Civilian, Federal Health, Military Health, Technology and Consulting Communities.”

Kate leads Brillient’s digital transformation teams supporting federal agencies including USDA, IRS, and USCIS. She optimizes intelligent document processing (IDP) solutions for lowest cost, high accuracy, and “future proof” flexibility. She recently surveyed, evaluated, and selected leading IDP software; then successfully implemented the most cost-effective IDP solutions at USDA and IRS. At USDA, we are using her solution to digitalize millions of pages of local field office forms, so USDA employees and their public customers have fast electronic access to these records. At IRS, we are using her solution to digitalize hundreds of thousands of tax returns to reduce the backlog of paper tax returns. At USCIS, we are using her solution to automate part of the immigration benefits process.
Ms. Faddegon is also providing requirements and user experience design guidance to Brillient’s development of our ALICE® (ArtificiaL Intelligence Cognitive Ecosystem) platform as well as to enhancements of our Digital Records and Information Management System (DRIMS™) middleware. She is a thought leader and practitioner in the application of leading IDP technologies in flexible architectures that optimize performance at the lowest cost.
