Reston, VA | June 20, 2023- On Saturday, June 10th, Brillient held its annual Washington, D.C. area summer picnic at the Dulles Golf Center & Sports Park in Sterling, VA. Over one hundred employees and their families joined us on a beautiful day and connected over lots of fun activities for all ages.
There were balloon and caricature artists, face painting, batting cages, mini golf, a rock-climbing wall, a driving range, volleyball, cornhole, and basketball in addition to others. Pulled chicken and brisket were served along with green beans, macaroni and cheese, potato salad, and baked beans provided by Mission BBQ. Ford’s Fish Shack was also on hand with drinks and amazing vegetarian options along with a Hershey’s Ice Cream Truck providing delicious desserts!
Due to the pandemic, Brillient has not held a summer picnic since 2019, so this was an amazing opportunity to bring all our DC area employees together and celebrate all Brillient’s successes. The picnic offered a chance for all our employees to meet each other’s families and to get to know each other on a more personal level. This kind of employee engagement and connection is a key part of Brillient’s culture. We cannot wait to start new traditions now that the pandemic has ended and look forward to more in-person celebrations.
