As Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Brillient Corporation, Mr. Price is responsible for coordinating strategic growth and the financial, administrative, and risk management operations of the company. This includes the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.

Ramsey is driving the execution of the company’s growth strategy, to include monitoring and reporting Objective and Key Results (OKRs), trends, forecasts, adjustments needed, as well as leading the inorganic growth strategy. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, he helps craft business strategy, action plans and the execution of those plans, and manages the Finance and Accounting, Contracts, and HR teams within Brillient.

Ramsey brings 20+ years of financial leadership to Brillient and has held multiple roles in small, private, and medium-sized publicly traded software and technology firms. He has extensive experience in commercial and government contracting, corporate budgeting, financial and pricing analysis, strategic modeling, internal controls, and systems implementations. 

Most recently, Ramsey served as Vice President, Finance at Maxar Technologies where he was the financial business partner to the General Manager of the Enterprise business unit and helped lead efforts to standardize product pricing driving greater overall deal velocity, lower cost of sales, and higher contribution margin revenue growth. He was also one of the senior leaders on the integration team and steering committee to help manage Maxar’s acquisition of Vricon Inc.

Prior to this, Ramsey was the CFO of Vricon, Inc., a joint venture owned by Maxar Technologies and Saab, to develop and sell highly accurate, photorealistic 3D products and elevation data to defense, intelligence, and commercial customers. During his four years at Vricon, the company grew from less than $1M to approximately $50M in annual revenues and became profitable and cash flow positive in year three of operations. Ramsey led the due diligence process for Vricon which culminated in Maxar’s acquisition of Saab’s ownership for approximately $140M in July of 2020. Ramsey has also held various controllership and internal auditor positions in publicly traded companies and directly supported the CFO in successfully completing an Initial Public Offering of OPNET Technologies on the NASDAQ exchange. 

Ramsey holds a Master of Accounting degree from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School, where he graduated with distinction and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of North Carolina. He lives in Bethesda, Maryland with his wife, Clara, and two children, Isabel, and Ale.
