Edward Burrows

Edward Burrows is the Vice President of Intelligent Solutions at Brillient Corporation, where he spearheads Brillient’s growth efforts to sell and deliver RPA, Intelligent Automation (IA) and AI to federal agencies as well as select commercial clients. In his role, Ed infuses intelligent solutions into all of our current contracts (Up-Sell), new proposals, Biz Ops functions as well as nurtures vendor partnerships.   

Prior to joining Brillient he was the Robotics Process Automation (RPA) Program Manager at GSA for the Office of the Chief Financial Officer and the founding Chair of the Federal RPA Community of Practice.  He also served as the Government Co-Chair of the ACT-IAC Intelligent Automation Working Group, leading a group of industry experts in producing the Intelligent Automation Primer in 2019.

Prior to joining GSA in 2015 Ed led financial operations and programs in the telecommunications industry, including senior leadership positions at MCI, Concert Communications, BT Group, and Telarix.  

In 2021, Ed was named the winner of the 2021 Washington Exec Pinnacle award for Artificial Intelligence Executive of the Year in the Private Sector. In 2020, he was the recipient of the G2X Change Agent Award. In 2019 he received the Leadership in Technology Innovation Award of the Association of Information Resource Management (AFFIRM). Also, under Ed’s leadership the GSA RPA Program received the 2019 GCN Government Innovation Award.  

Ed holds a B.A. in Economics from The Pennsylvania State University and a M.A. in Economics from University of Virginia.
